The next scheduled parent workshop explaining how your child learns Phonics in school and how you can support them at home is on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 at 9:00am in the school hall. This workshop is primarily designed for parents with children starting school in the Early Years Foundation Stage for the first time, however if your child is in Year 1 and you would like a refresher, you are more than welcome to come along.

Once the session has taken place, we will attach a guide below explaining how we approach learning to read at Humberston Church of Engand Primary School.
