The Early Years is the first building block in a child's school career. At The Humberston C of E Primary School, we place a high emphasis on fostering a love of learning by creating a safe and stimulating environment and by giving the children the tools to develop their independence and enquiry skills.

Much like the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, we include the children's own interests by asking the children to work together to choose their topic. The teachers then plan the content to meet the needs of the children through this topic. Children are assessed through ongoing observations during teacher led and child initiated activities.
