On Wednesday 16th November, Year 2 and 3 had a very exciting visitor come to school to continue their topic all about the Rainforest. Ashley from Exotic Animals of the World brought various animals which you might find in the rainforest so the children could learn more about them.

The children had the opportunity to hold and stroke a variety of animals such as: a tarantula, a skunk, snakes, sugar gliders, millipedes, lizards and a tegu. They were all so brave and had a brilliant time! 

Ashley was able to answer lots of interesting questions about the animals that the children wanted to ask and he also told them lots of facts that they didn't know about these amazing creatures!

What a fantastic afternoon they had!
