Match Report of the Ramsdens Cup Final 2024

3:30pm on Friday 3^rd May…that’s when the magic begun! Humberston CofE year 6 boys competed against Humberston Cloverfields for the Ramdens cup final 2024.

So BOOM! It kicked off and we played ‘tiki tacka’ passing the ball effectively to our team mates, dominating the first quarter of the game. Until, Chae demonstrated fabulous skills and scored a beauty, blasting it through the keepers legs, making the score 1-0 to the mighty Humbo! Cloverfields turned this around, with two quick goals, making the score 2-1 to Cloverfields at half time. Humberston CofE don’t give up easily and after maintaining a positive mentality, passion and drive the score was made 2-2 after Chae won a free kick and Harris slotted it top bins. In the last 10 minutes, Harris scored a blinding goal from the corner. As the whistle blew, the score finalised at 3-2 to Humberston CofE.  Meaning we lift the trophy.
