A group of Year 5 and 6 children had a fantastic afternoon makingMasks played a central role in Maya culture. They were made for a variety of occasions and purposes. In fact, they were even used to decorate temples. The children designed their own masks. Parent were invited for a fun afternoon of making and decorating Maya masks. They rose to the challenge and as you can see created some fantastic masks using all kinds of resources - they are amazing! We would like to say a huge thank you to all of those parents and an older sibling who attended our workshop. We just can't wait to see what the next Year 5 and 6 group to have ago!
