We were so proud of how our Year 5 conducted themselves as they took a walk around the local area to identify hubs of the community and places that are in need of change. To identify key centres of the local community and make observations about areas which could be improved or changed. They interviewed members of the community using the questions they had generated together in class. They have plotted their findings on an map which they have devised themselves, highlighting areas where they would like to be involved in serving and bringing about change in our community. Year 5 are now planning their community action project in response to their findings.
