On Friday 2nd December Mrs Dellar visited Class 1 and 2 for a Christmas Workshop.  She brought with her lots of resources and all the children were excited to find out what activities they would take part in!

The workshop began with a discussion about the Christmas Story - the birth of Jesus. The children watched some great videos which told them the story of the Nativity.  We then talked together about the events of the story and why Christmas is such a special time for Christians.  

The children then spent the rest of the morning getting creative with the wonderful activities that Mrs Dellar had provided.  They made baubles for their christmas trees, nativity door hangers, collages of baby Jesus in the manger and explored books about the Christmas story and a Nativity puzzle.  

What a great morning we all had and we learnt so much about the Christmas Story.  Thank you Mrs Dellar!
