Class One enjoyed a fabulous day out at Normanby Hall on Thursday learning about plants. They undertook a range of activities including close inspection and observational drawing of different seeds, experiments to show how plants breathe air out, planting seeds and weeding! We looked around the lovely walled garden and spotted many different wicker sculptures that reminded us of nursery rhymes we know. The children were complimented on their behaviour throughout the visit. And we stayed dry!
