To prepare for the workshop, we had researched and evaluated existing products. Investigated the different types of cams which change rotary into linear motion to decide which one to use in our design. Developed design ideas until we had our final designs and annotated drawings of the making process. Completed focused tasks to develop our measuring, sawing skills and strengthening techniques.
