Lord's Prayer Day

In November 2017, we held a Lord's Prayer Day, during which each class explored this well known prayer and what it truly means.

KS2 children translated the text into modern day words and KS1 and FS2 children looked at different types of prayer, before writing some of their own.

Each child created a piece of artwork to represent a line of the Lord's Prayer and each class visited the hall where interactive stations were set up to explore the prayer further.

It was a fantastic day, and a beautiful display was created in the hall to celebrate the day.

A write up of the day was featured in RE News, published by the Diocese of Lincoln each term and distributed to church schools around Lincolnshire. You can read the article below on page 5 of the document.
